Fairfield 33 Corridor

The Fairfield 33 Corridor encompasses Violet, Bloom and Greenfield Townships and is located directly between the urban area of Columbus and the scenic beauty of the Hocking Hills. Violet Township has a partnership with Canal Winchester, having created a Cooperative Economic Development Agreement (CEDA). This allows for mutual cooperation and promotion of the Fairfield 33 Corridor. The CEDA ensures that everything within the Corridor will have a unified appearance and attractive aesthetic which will help to foster long-term development and growth.

Fairfield County is only a one-day drive for 60% of the United States population and 50% of the Canadian population.

The Corridor has abundant resources that allow businesses to operate efficiently and effectively.

In the Corridor, businesses can:

  • Transport goods, materials and people throughout the region, country, and world through a multifaceted transportation system
  • Hire a reliable workforce with the skills to meet any business challenge
  • Support business applications by tapping into an outstanding utility infrastructure and an abundance of natural resources

The Fairfield 33 Corridor contains several Ady-Austin Certified sites, including Rock Mill Industrial Park and Canal Pointe Industry & Commerce Park. Both sites meet stringent shovel-ready certification standards required to earn the distinction as being Ady-Austin certified development sites. Independently certified by industry expert Ady-Austin Consulting, Rock Mill and Canal Pointe represent two of only three sites in Ohio and a limited number nationwide to receive this accreditation. Both locations meet more than 200 critical evaluation factors, alleviating any and all barriers from initial site evaluation to the first day of production. This allows businesses to bypass the wait-time to investigate a site and be confident that it is a good location for transportation, utility services, and that there are no known environmental issues. It is easy to find a property and quickly break ground in the Fairfield 33 Corridor.
